Coonhounds make wonderful pets. They are very sociable and affectionate and get along well with families and with other dogs. Outside of New England, coonhounds are mostly used for hunting and are often discarded and undervalued if they turn out to be poor trackers or are not needed anymore. Our mission is to educate people about the suitability of coonhounds as pets; to provide support to coonhound owners; and to re home as many coonhounds as possible .

We serve the New England states, New York and New Jersey. We rehome coonhounds and hound mixes who are in high-kill shelters in the south and midwest. We transport these dogs to New England where they are available to be seen by applicants. All dogs are given a thorough health check, spay/neuter and vaccines and are treated for any known illnesses or parasites.
