MARR Stands for Mice and Rats Rights and was started July 29th 2009 on facebook.
Its MARR's goal to represent and protect mice and rats as it recognizes them to be one of the most maligned animals with the minimalist of protection, which ranges from none to accidentally some, and the least represented.
MARR's goals are to pass legislation, educate people on many aspects of rats and mice, and to capture and rehome wild and domestic rats and mice.
MARR maintains that Rats and Mice feel. They feel pain and they feel joy, which is all the reason we need to live with respect.
At MARR we serve the globe trying to rehome our smallest friends, the mice and rats.
We serve central florida as well as broward county.
MARR is a non profit under the 501 C of the Humane Foundation
Additional adoption info
We have a 15 dollar contract fee per animal. If you do not have a rat or mouse already at home you must adopt two animals at a time.
At MARR we believe you cannot truly put a price on a life, our fee is purposely in place to be more expensive then a milled pet, and to be more expensive then "snake food" and to stop anyone who may try to use our service as a seller platform.
The adopter shall have their own set of rules for when you adopt that MARR will look over and approve of, and which you must comply with.
Discounts will be applied for vegans, marr donators, and those who choose to neuter their rats.
