Miss Kitty's Cat House is a small non-profit, no-kill cat rescue and adoption facility, solely operated by volunteers and donations. Miss Kitty's is located in a tiny Victorian house at 302 N. Alarcon Street in Prescott, Arizona, where approximately 15 to 20 adult cats live and play until they are adopted. The cats roam free in the house and are cared for by a variety of dedicated volunteers. Since the number of "residents" is governed by the City of Prescott, we often have a waiting list for cats to come in when there are vacancies.
We also have other adult cats and kittens in foster homes in the Prescott area. The number varies depending upon how many kittens have been sent to us and how many fosters are available.
We shelter cats of all ages and backgrounds. We have cats whose humans have either passed away or are otherwise unable to care for them, rescued cats who were born feral and who have been socialized, motherless kittens or formerly abandoned or abused pets.
