Shelter FAQs

While we strive to adopt out all pets to good homes, this is a rural county with a low rate of spay/neuter. Vast numbers of pets are surrendered, or found lost, neglected, or abandoned. Space is limited; therefore, we urge everyone to come and adopt, rescue groups are welcome also. We service all of Floyd County Georgia, however individuals from outside the county are always welcome to come and adopt.
