Pet Stop Rescue is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to placing homeless and displaced pets. Based in Ventura County, Pet Stop Rescue focuses on improving and protecting the lives of animals. We rescue animals from kill shelters, dangerous home situations as well remote locations where their families have dumped them. We also help responsible families who find themselves in the difficult situation of needing to re-home their pet. Most of our animals are in foster homes until 'lifelong' homes can be found for them. In addition to rescuing, caring for, medically treating, and adopting out animals, we seek to promote animal welfare.
