Joe Joe's Place Animal Rescue is an animal rescue that was opened in memory of Joey Lloyd who passed away October 2008 of an unknown heart arrhythmia while sleeping at age 18. His family opened Joe Joe's Place to keep his memory and love for animals alive.
All of our animals come from high kill shelters, picked up as strays, owner surrenders.
Please note : In most cases, the breed mix is our best guess based on the size/appearance of the dog. Most of the dogs we get are strays so their history is unknown.

Additional adoption info
If you are interested in any of our adoptable pets, please visit our website joejoesplace.org and fill out an application. Our application process is very important to finding the best home for our adoptable pets. All questions must be answered completely and honestly. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED!!
Joe Joe's Place is not a shelter. We are a network of volunteer foster homes, therefore we only schedule visits with an approved application. We do use a first received, first reviewed application process. Joe Joe's Place will do a first visit with the foster family and a follow up home visit at potential adopters home prior to adoption.
Our adoption fee is $375. That fee covers age appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip and spay/neuter when the animals are 6 months old. The surgery is done at our veterinarian.
Joe Joe's Place Animal Rescue requires animals in the home to have a yearly physical, be up to date on vaccines, be heartworm tested and on preventative, and be spayed/neutered.
