Clinton County Humane Society (CCHS) is committed to preventing cruelty and improving the lives of our animal citizens. Our mission is to foster an atmosphere of communication and collaboration between local animal control and other rescue organizations to help find appropriate loving homes for unwanted domestic animals and to educate citizens of our communities on the importance of proper animal care, spay/neuter programs and responsible ownership of an animal friend. Clinton County Humane Society is a small group of volunteers dedicated to saving lives. We are a non profit organization and rely solely on foster homes for housing, caring and training for our adoptable pets. If you can not adopt, please considering being a foster parent. Our adoptable pets are available to anyone with an approved adoption application. Of course we want you to meet the pet that you are wanting to adopt first to make certain it is a good match for you. We do not provide transportation, the new adopter must make arrangements to pick up the new pet in person. If other arrangements are needed , please contact us we will try our best to help.
Additional adoption info
Adoption fee's vary depending on the amount of donations that were spent giving the animal the vet care that is needed. We also take the age of the pet into consideration, older pets and pets that have been our foster care program for long periods of time will have lower fees.
