Recycled K-9 is strictly a volunteer based animal rescue. We are solely funded by donations. We are currently based in Yemassee SC. Due to relocation we are temporarily unable to accept horses or live stock at this time. We are also limited on the number of dogs/cats we can house.
Here at Recycled K-9 we thrive to make sure that abused, neglected, and abandoned animals find their forever homes. Although our animals mainly come from strays found wandering the roads or from high kill shelters we make sure each and every animal is temperament tested and goes through basic training before being put up for adoption.
Recycled K-9s was established in 2002. We have dedicated our time to help out animals of all kinds. We don't discriminate. All breeds and types welcome. We do try to keep our main focus is to the seniors, disabled, and those with medical needs.
All animals within this rescue maintain proper grooming needs as well as basic training while they are in our care. Each and every animal gets their individual love, socialization, and care daily.
Most of our animals are in foster homes so appointments must be made to see an animal on our list. Be they will be available most days and times.
From time to time we will help do courtesy posting for people whom are no longer able to care for their pets and Recycled K-9s can not guarantee the health or temperament of the animal. But will require they are up to date on all shots and be spayed/neutered before I will post them.
Prior to adoption, all animals are temperament tested, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and spayed / neutered. Some animals are posted are not already fully vetted but will be before taking your new family member home.
