We are a small kennel and foster-based rescue group in Central New York State. The majority of the dogs and puppies that we rescue come from high-kill shelters in the South, primarily NC and SC- we rescue them and bring them north to give them the second chance that they deserve at a happy, healthy life and to help them find their forever homes with families that will cherish them for the wonderful individuals that they are.

Our home rescue kennel is located in Frankfort, NY, about 45 miles east of Syracuse and 90 miles west of Albany. While many of our rescue partners are located in Oneida and Herkimer Counties, we also have volunteer transporters that can assist in transporting adopted puppies and dogs closer to their forever homes.
Additional adoption info
Prior to adopting a dog or puppy from our group, you must complete an Adoption Application. Once approved, then we can make arrangements for you to meet the dogs and pups that you are interested in. You are welcome to bring any existing pets to meet them as well, to make sure that the new potential family member is a good fit with the entire family.
If the dog or puppy that you are considering adopting in to your family is not already spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, then your Adoption Contract will include a Spay/Neuter Contract, to ensure that this procedure is completed at the appropriate time by the veterinarian of your choice.
Our adoption fees vary by age and whether the spay/neuter has been completed at the time of rescue, and will always be listed with the description of the individual dog or puppy.
