The O'Connor Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization operated by one Animal Control Officer under the direction of the Concordia Police Department.

Under general supervision, to investigate complaints,
capture and impound stray, vicious, or injured animals; to enforce ordinances governing
licensing, impounding, humane treatment, sanitation and disposal of animals; to assist
in cleaning the shelter, feeding and only using euthanasia for animals with major aggression and seriously injured; and to do related work as required.

$150.00 for a Non Spayed/Neutered Dog
- includes a basic wellness check from our veterinarian, vaccinations, de-worming, spay/neuter, rabies and heart worm testing for dogs only, and a city tag for your dog-if applicable.

$75.00 for an Altered Dog
- includes a basic check from our veterinarian, vaccinations, de-worming, rabies and heart worm testing for dogs only, and a city tag for your dog if applicable.

$75.00 for Cats (altered or unaltered)
- inclues a basic check from our veterinarian, feline vaccination, spay/neuter and the rabies vaccination.
