The mission of The Kitten Nursery is to provide a safe, healthy, healing and loving environment for abandoned, injured, and abused cats, as well as pregnant cats and their kittens.
The Kitten Nursery began with one volunteer and a couple cages in a garage for a nursing cat named Maria & 2 orphan kittens. The goal was to provide a place to care for pregnant or nursing cats & orphan infant kittens from local shelters.
We have grown to caring for abandoned cats, special needs cats and barn cats. This is all possible because of the network of dedicated volunteers, fosters, medical workers, food banks, etc.
