We wish to provide a better life for dogs. We aspire to provide a safe haven, loving attention, nutritious food, meticulous health care and daily exercise to each and every dog in our care. We shall provide a home-like atmosphere to provide for the comfort of the dogs as well allow for better matching between dogs and potential caregivers by providing a more realistic and interactive setting. We will help with the educating of our community to ensure each dog owner has all the resources and information necessary to care for their four-legged family members.

During the summer of 2005 we suddenly lost "Bob", a former humane society dog, who became a very special member of our family.
Needless to say, our hearts were broken. To remedy our sadness we decided to do something memorable in his honor. We will be operating a foster facility directly affiliated with the Eau Claire County Humane Association.
Our center provides one-on-one loving care, in addition to the space and comfort of a home. All too many dogs are terrified and confused at shelters, which can make their chances of adoption almost zero. The seniors are especially stressed at finding themselves abandoned at this stage of their life. We hope that their time at Bob's House will alleviate some of their anxiety, and prepare them for their forever families. We plan to house twelve dogs at a time, while hopefully having a steady rotation of animals, as adoptions take place.
