Rescue FAQs

IMPS serves all states of the US and some areas of Canada. The country has been divided up into groups of states, with a Regional Coordinator for each area. This group serves the South Carolina and North Carolina region.

Additional adoption info

All Miniature Pinschers placed through IMPS will be spayed or neutered prior to placement, have proof of appropriate vaccinations, and have been thoroughly evaluated by a breed representative for temperament and training needs.

All potential adopters complete an adoption application, and will undergo a vet reference check, personal reference check, and home screening. Discussion with the foster family is essential to finding the best match for both the dog and you. Always ask about habits, both good and bad.

IMPS requires reimbursement of all necessary veterinary costs. A small additional donation is requested with each adoption so that we may continue to care for chronically ill and/or severely injured foster dogs. Travel costs are borne by the adopter. In all cases, any expenses related to the adoption will be agreed upon prior to placement.
