We pay medical bills for sick and injured adoptable animals in the care of central PA rescues and shelters. We do this because Merrick, a starved and dehydrated yellow lab with bees in a tumor and near death was taken in by the humane society and denied access to a veterinarians care. Nearly 18 hours later, he died on the way to see a vet.
