Ador-A-Bull Dog Rescue (ADR) is a small, independent dog rescue run by a several individuals who have been heavily involved in dog rescue for years and were brought together through their similar beliefs and values.
Though our current focus is the bull and terrier breeds being discriminated against by the Ontario Government, we are committed to helping any dog, regardless of breed, on a case by case basis. ADR also has a strong focus of involvement and education in the community for responsible dog ownership and advocacy for the breeds misrepresented in the media. We are also a proud supporter of the Banned Aid Coalition. All of our adoptable dogs have received veterinary care, have been temperament tested and are fostered in family environments. We are always in need of (and very grateful for) volunteers, foster homes and donations.
Should you have any questions about us, our dogs, or anything else please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Additional adoption info
Given that the majority of the dogs we rescue and rehome are of the Bull and Terrier breeds and affected by Ontario's Bill 132 we ask that you have a good understanding of the law before applying to adopt a dog. Regardless if you are located in Ontario or not, it is important to us that you know why these dogs are being rescued and that BSL can and does affect ALL dogs.
For further information please visit the Banned Aid site www.bannedaid.com
All of our dogs are fostered in family environments for at least 30 days before being available for adoption. We feel this gives us a reasonable amount of time to learn their personalities, quirks and begin to "refine" any habits that may not be desirable.
All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption.
Given the time, effort and LOVE that goes into the care of these dogs by our foster homes and volunteers our adoption process is a very thorough one. We ask that you please take this into consideration when applying to adopt a dog from us. ADR does not rush the adoption process. We are dedicated to matching the right dog with the right home and as such require an application process, interview process, reference checks, adoption fee and contracts all to be completed.
