The Humane Society of Wickenburg (HSW) strives to provide exceptional care for dogs and cats that are surrendered, abandoned or abused. Through formal and comprehensive adoption policies, educational humane programs, and events designed to increase awareness, compassion and responsible pet ownership, HSW’s mission is to place every adoptable animal into a permanent, well-educated home. Through the dedication of our volunteers and staff, we are able to provide a nurturing environment to our shelter animals and we work to ensure that HSW's animals will go to the best possible Fur-Ever home.

Additional adoption info
To help ensure you adopt a pet that is a good fit for your home, we suggest that you and your family get acquainted with the animal of your choice. To begin the adoption process, you will need to fill out an adoption application. This creates an opportunity for us to help guide you in making a well-informed decision. We strongly advise that all members of the family interact with the shelter animal prior to adoption. Some animals may have multiple applicants and will be matched with the most compatible environment provided.
All Humane Society of Wickenburg’s animals are spayed/neutered, given their initial vaccinations, and microchipped. We strive to match our dogs or cats to the best PAWSible Fur-Ever home. The adoption fee is dependent upon the age, size, and breed of the animal. We reserve the right to refuse an adoption at any time.
