Iroquois County Animal Rescue is a TRUE no-kill shelter which serves Iroquois County. We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization which recieves no local, state, or county funding and subsists SOLELY on donations from private citizens and generous contributors like you. Our facility houses cats ONLY, and our dogs are housed in foster care.

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application, possess a drivers license or State ID, and include a vet reference. Renters MUST include a phone number where their landlord can be reached. Same day adoptions are available in some cases, but not all. All animals available for adoption are already de-wormed, spayed/neutered, vaccinated for Rabies, twice vaccinated for Distemper, FIV/FeLV test for cats, Heartworm test for dogs and microchipped. Our adoption fees are as follows: Adult cats and kittens = $100; Purebred kittens $125, Adult dogs = $200 for residents of IL and IN, Puppies = $250. Dog adoptions for residents of other states are $250. A gas fee of $25 will be assessed to adopters who require a home inspection and require a drive time of more than 40 minutes from Watseka, IL. Home inspections are required for all dogs who require a fenced in yard, and for applicants who do not posses a solid veterinary history.
