Rescue FAQs

HappyCat Club is a small group of experienced and dedicated cat lovers who are helping to find homes for homeless cats in Madison, Wisconsin (Dane County). We foster cats from various rescues and from the Dane County Humane Society. While providing care and rehabilitation to these cats, we get to know them well. We then work hard to help market these precious gems, so that connections are made with people looking for new best friends. Our goal is to help the Dane County Humane Society and other rescues expand their ability to find loving and permanent homes for more homeless cats and to help build a No Kill community in Dane County.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is very easy. We have applications available that people fill out. Applications are many times approved the same day. Once the application is approved, the adopter signs a contract and pays the adoption fee. The adoption may fee vary slightly, but adult cats are typically $40 and kittens are typically $125. The fee includes spay/neuter, vaccination, deworming, microchipping, FeLV and FIV testing (FIV testing on cats and kittens 6+months).
