This is mostly a one-person operation of caring for at least twenty animals at all times, plus colonies of cats. I have a 501(c)(3) designation but donations are small. It costs at least $15,000 a year (of the organizer's own money) for food, medical care and other expenses of caring for rescued animals. We are very upset to have to turn down an animal! The organizer has a full-time job and would like to be able to hire some help or be able to offer food for foster homes. The cats in the colonies are not only fed, spayed or neutered; they are brought home and can choose to stay in a home if they like. Any donation - money, food, litter - is much appreciated!! Thank you.

Additional adoption info
The normal adoption fee is $80. Sometimes sibling pets can go for a combination fee. If we are helping another organization get an animal adopted, they may have a different fee. The contract says you will care for the animal for life and not abandon him or her to a shelter, that you have the means to pay for medical treatments. You may return the pet within fifteen days or for any emergency reason, but not for the sake of convenience.
