Blessed Bonds, NFP

Animal rescue in Palos Park, IL

We preserve the human-animal companion bond and promote its value. Our mission is to keep people and pets together. We temporarily foster people's dogs and cats when owners are in the hospital or experiencing a temporary crisis interfering with their ability to care for their pets. We then reunite them when the owners are able to take care of them again. We do not have a building --we are not a shelter. We do not take owner give-ups because we try to help people keep their pets in their family for life. We have a network of foster homes who are willing to keep pets in their homes short-term until the owners can take them back. Sadly, sometimes, owners pass away or are not able to take their pets back and we then need to find them new homes--these are the pets that we then list for adoption. We are all volunteer and supported by donations -we always need more foster homes.
