Sugarfoot Farm is located on 120 acres in Columbia, Kentucky. We are an all breed/no kill shelter. All of our dogs are either strays or owner surrenders. When a dog is brought here this is its home until it finds a home. We DO NOT adopt a dog to someone if it is not going to be a part of the family. Dogs must be allowed in the home and not be tied outside. Our adoption paperwork states that if for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you return it to us. They are not to be given away or taken to a shelter.
Sugarfoot Farm Rescue is a nonprofit, 100% volunteer organization. Our mission is to save strays and provide for their health concerns. We also take in owner surrenders. Our goal is to place all rescued animals into good homes.
Before an animal is adopted, they each receive a health exam, shots, wormer, and are spayed or neutered. Once an animal is safe and healthy, they are adopted out to families that will provide good homes for them. All dogs are microchipped before adoption.
We love our dogs and want to adopt them out to people who will love them as much as we do!

Our adoption fee is $50. Please consider the fact that our dogs are vaccinated and spayed/neutered before they are adopted, and we microchip them before they leave. This is all done at our expense.
All donations are accepted and appreciated. As a 501 (c)(3) Public Charity, donations are tax deductible (as allowed by law).
