We are a registered, non-profit group of bullie loving owners, rescuers, fans, trainers, fosters, food givers and kiss sponges, who are working hard to give pit bulls the fair chance they deserve. We specialize in placing American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, and Staffordshire Bull Terriers, collectively known to most as pit bulls!
We actively work for those dogs already in shelters and rescues, helping bring great homes together with great dogs. We also do public education, limited foster care and assist new rescue pit bull owners with guidance and support.

HugABull is a virtual rescue, where we don't have an actual shelter, but work with private foster homes. We currently adopt within BC only.
Additional adoption info
All adoptions must start with completing an adoption application found on our website. Once the application has been received it will be reviewed, and if found suitable for one of our adoptable dogs, a volunteer will contact the applicant to further discuss the application, and answer any questions he or she may have. A meet and greet with the dog is arranged as well as a home check, and should all those go well, the adopter will bring home their new dog. Our adoptions fees range from $150.00 for adults to $250.00 for puppies. All our dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped or tattoo, and vet checked. In addition to the adoption fee there is a $50.00 deposit which is refunded if the dog completes and obedience course within 6 months, or obtains it's Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) designation within a year.
