Rescue FAQs

We've been a horse rescue since 2000, we take in horses mainly from cruelty cases get them back to health and find them new homes. We also assist owners with re homing their horses.

Potential adopters must complete and submit our adoption application.A phone interview is then conducted to discuss the persons needs and the horses training, disposition,etc. If after the phone interview both Spring Hill and the applicant feel like the horse might be a good fit for the family, a visit is scheduled to come and see the horse. If approved they must agree and sign an adoption contract. A site visit is required. Photo's of your property where the horse will be going is helpful.
