TARAA is a rescue/adoption organization in NE Florida. We promote spay/neuter and are 100% NO-KILL. TARAA helps place all animals and every animal taken in is given the medical attention necessary. Special needs animals are never rejected. TARAA has placed, with the aid of Petco, over 700 pets in 3 years.

We have an application process and cats and kittens are 85.00 and dogs and puppies are 150.00. This adoption donation helps pay for the medical needs (sterilization, vaccines, de-worming, ear mite and flea treatment) of the adopted pet. You must be at least 21 years of age or have a parent co-sign if between 18 and 21. You have to have never surrendered an animal to a kill shelter and you must have a safe environment for the animal. You must also agree to call us first if you should ever have to surrender the animal.
