Founded in 1994 to honor the memory of a dear friend and animal lover, Bill Hicks, we are a Texas based not for profit corp that is devoted primarily to wildlife rescue and rehabilitation that also works with the rescue and adoption of wolfdogs. We are a grassroots group of 15 plus volunteers and vets who rehab wildlife out of our homes. All of our volunteres are recognized by the Texas Parks and Wildlife dept as holders of scientific rehabilitators permits or are subpermittees thereof.
The wolfdogs are held at founding director Jere Raridons home/property. This as a very difficult breed to adopt out due to high intelligence and pack nature as well as bad media about the breed. We have 16 plus years experience with the breed and are a recognized adoption group by the City of Austin Town Lake Animal Shelter.
