*Putting Animal Welfare First*PAW First Rescue is located in Ponca City, Oklahoma. We consist of a group of volunteers who assists the local Animal Control and other sources to minimize the euthanasia rate in our community by finding homes for abandoned and unwanted animals.
Pets For Life Rescue operates solely on donations and help from volunteers. Our adoption fee, helps cover the medical care for the animal. All animals are spayed/neutered when they reach sexual maturity, current on vaccinations, treated for worms, fleas, ear mites and any other medical need the animal might have.
Create an alert, and we'll notify you every time a new pet comes in who meets your criteria.

Additional adoption info
First, an application must be filled out completely and approved. Since we are a group of foster homes and do not have a facility, we make appointments for meeting with prospective adopters.
When pets are too young for spay/neuter, there is a refundable deposit that is required by the State of Oklahoma. After the pet is altered, send a copy of the vet receipt and we will mail the deposit to you.
If you are approved but are unable to pick up your new pet for more than a couple of days, you will have to pay a nonrefundable deposit of half the adoption fee. When you pick up the pet, that will be applied to the adoption fee. IF you do not show up at the specified date, the deposit will be kept and the pet adopted to the next approved applicant.
When paying an adoption fee, hold deposit, or spay/neuter deposit, please have cash, money order or use PayPal. You do not need an account with PayPal to pay that way, we can send a request for money. Send to: PetsForLifeRescue@yahoo.com
