My name is Tiffany Mosley, President of Jerry's Jungle Rescue & Rehab,Inc. Our goal is to promote animal welfare in Tangipaphoa Parish.
After a year of fostering for a few nationwide rescue groups who pull many dogs from our local shelter, we decided to foster for them on a larger scale. In April 2007, we built a rehab facility that has 10 kennels, and have been able to help save136 animals since the facility opened. We help many heartworm patients during treatment, provide water therapy for dogs who need to loose weight, need exercise, and who have had surgeries which requires physical therapy to prevent muscle atrophy. We are able to perform extensive temperament testing
which includes kid tests, cat tests, dog test, seeing if they ride well in a car, off leash testing, and aggression testing which helps to place them in the right forever home. The dogs who have came through our rehab have a 1700sq. ft.exercise yard, playgroup
sessions, toys, kiddie pools, lots of treats,lights, blankets, and we
play soothing music for the all day, and all night. We are in the
process of constructing a 3000sq. ft. play yard too. My parents live
down the same driveway, and during holidays or family dinners, my mom
makes all the rehab doggies something special to eat too. Last year at Thanksgiving, she made the whole crew turkey biscuits, and we walked each rehab furbabies down for Thanksgiving dinner with a family. We want the dogs to feel like they are at home instead of in a kennel, and we love getting to know each and every one of them that
came through our facility.
We decided to dedicate the group to my father-in-law, Jerry Carl Mosley, Sr., who supported our goal in saving animal's lives. He passed away from liver cancer September 15th, 2006.

*I use a ground transport that is amazing. They really care for each dog's need, and make multiple stops no matter what. The even have a registered vet tech on board:)
