Founded in 1997 by Tedra Villaroz, Joey’s Feline Friends is a privately owned, non-profit, no-kill shelter dedicated to the care of homeless, abused & physically challenged animals. Receiving it’s non-profit status in 1998. Joey’s operates entirely on the generosity of animal lovers like you...! ALL money goes directly to the care of the animals; which includes food, supplies, shelter maintenance, health care & medical bills. Any & all monetary donations are greatly appreciated by the cats & kitties under our care AND is tax deductible. Since our inception we have provided services to approximately 2500 cats, shelter for over 2000 & found homes for approximately 300 cats a year (& need to find many more homes!). We have provided quality care for over hundreds of terminally ill cats. We also provide spay & neuters for colony cats & shelter cats. We assist in rescues & provide advice to those seeking information on special-needs cats, behavioral problems & many other issues.
DONATIONS & VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS APPRECIATED...! We rely entirely on volunteers & donations. We appreciate any help you have. Whether you have 1 hour a day, week, month or more, Joey’s can use whatever you have to offer. We need help with shelter maintenance, public relations & cat socializing, petting & fostering.
