Originally established in 2001 to rescue abused and mistreated American Bulldogs and similar breeds, the organization has changed and will accept, within the limitations of space and resources, other breeds that will benefit from a structured socialization and training program as well as careful placement.
Society Goals:
*Educate the public about dog breeds and traits of the breeds.
*Promote dogs for adoption that display correct temperament for their breed.
*Rehabilitate companion animals.
*Educate the public on basic animal care.
*Reduce the numbers of unwanted animals in our area by promoting spay and neuter.
*Promote responsible ownership and safe handling of companion animals.
*Support new laws that punish irresponsible owners and those who use animals for illegal purposes.
*Prevent animal cruelty by education, compassion and example.

Additional adoption info
All persons interested in adopting a dog or cat must fill out an adoption application.
If we seem protective of the animals in our care, we are!
We have invested love, time, energy, and hard earned money into every animal in our care.
The animals often stay with us for months until a home with a good fit is found.
Many of these animals came to us from less than desirable circumstances.
We want to ensure they do not end up in the same situations or worse.
All animals are adopted with a contract that can be viewed at the online application page.
All animals are spayed, neutered and up to date with vaccines and micro chipped.
The process is easy if all the information you provide is true and complete.
We hope to welcome you into our Adoptive Family.
