Dalmatian Rescue/ Miami

Dog rescue in North Miami Beach, FL

Dalmatian Rescue is a safe haven for abandoned Dals that offers refuge from abusive, neglectful and desperate situations. We house and nurture the Dals back to health and make them ready for adoption into loving permanent homes. All medical and emotional needs are met through our organization. This breed in past years has become very popular and is most often misunderstood. Like most specific breed rescues, our organization offers education to those inquiring and hopefully seeking to acquire a Dal. Our motto is and alwyas has been........ "A little patience and love will be rewarded with a loyal lifelong friend."

Rescue FAQs

Dalmatian Rescue is far reaching in our efforts to help end abuse and abandonement of Dalmatians. We rescue and pull from shelters and streets all over the state, the southern states of the US and even offer a helping hand to our fellow rescuers in Puerto Rico. We adopt out of state to qualified families/individuals. With the high percentage of homelessness in our own backyard here in South Florida, we don't have to travel far to aid the homeless and discarded Dalmatians. There are plenty in shelters and on the streets at any given time.

Additional adoption info

Once approved with an apporpiate adoption application process and home visit, we will meet with the family/individual to further the adoption process and introduce them to the Dals they might be interested in. Dal Rescue plays a vital role in determining the most suitable home/pet match possible. We offer a wealth of support through educational tools, and printed and web materials. The most important aspect of qualifying for an adopted Dal is making sure one's lifestyle and committment line up the with expectations of this high energy and demanding breed. We hope that the next home these Dals will have will be their last.
