Our animals don't come from breeders or other nice family situations. They often are unwanted, dropped off on a local doorstep, owner surrendered or pulled from a shelter that had no space or just didn't think they could be adopted. Our pets are in a "jam," hence our name! We do this because we love animals and cannot stand them being mistreated or not have a loving home.

We do everything we can to find the best homes for our animals, whether here in Cecil County, MD or in another town. We do not discriminate based on where you live. Our animals generally come to us locally.
Additional adoption info
Our fee varies based on the age of the animal and placement ease as well as treatments needed or received. All of our animals are current on their vaccinations. If the animal being adopted is not spayed or neutered, you must agree to schedule and appointment with a vet immediately and provide us with proof that the animal was altered. We are not trying to add to the problem of pet overpopulation!
