We are a very small group, under 10 volunteers who have a great love of all animals large and small. Most of us only take in and foster small dogs. We take them from shelters, owners who can't keep them and also from puppymills when they are unwanted for breeding anymore. We foster all dogs in our homes, and treat them as our own pets. We socialize, ahve them medically treated, spayed or neutered, tested for heartworm. Put on hw prevention and monthly flea preventative.

Additional adoption info
We screen every applicant very carefully to ensure that they understand and accept the responsibilities involved in caring properly for a pet. A detailed application, from which we conduct a rigorous Reference Verification and a Home Visit with all household members present, are pre-adoption requirements. As part ofour contract, all puppies too young to be spayed or neutered are adopted on a special contract. They must show us the certificate of spay /neuter from their vet at the correct age. We do check up on this. If they refuse, we have the right to take the dog back- legally
During the application process, we provide care for our available pets in approved private foster homes where we observe and evaluate each pet for temperament and behavior, continue with the pet's socialization and training, and provide for their physical well being and health. Our adoption fees range from $200- $450, but are willing to work with adoption fees if we find the perfect home.
