Fur the Love of Paws is an Charitable, 501c3 organization started by a group of dedicated animal lovers who wanted to make a difference in the lives of homeless animals.
Currently being operated by volunteers and foster homes, our goal is to provide a shelter where euthanasia is never an option for a healthy animal.
The staff at Fur the Love of Paws take no paychecks, 100% of contributions go directly to the animals.
The three founders who started our organization have a combined 25 years of animal rescue experience.
As fate would have it, we all ended up working with the same group, and as time went by,
we learned that there are many more animals in desperate need of homes than the already overcrowded shelters can handle. As a consequence, thousands of animals
are euthanized each year in Maryland alone, simply due to lack of space in shelters. So we decided to volunteer our time and start our own rescue organization,
not only for the extreme need, but for our unconditional love of animals. Fur the Love of Paws...

Additional adoption info
We ask that you fill out an adoption application, and we will arrange for a meeting with the pet you are interested in.
We have an adoption contract, the $90 adoption fee is being waved provided the right home is found. All pets have had Spay/Neuter surgery, vaccines, FIV/FeLV testing, worm/flea treatment, food, shelter
and all the love our adoptable pets could want!
Pet history/experience preferred, current pets must be up to date on shots.
