Phoenix Animal Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run animal rescue group dedicated to rehabilitating, retraining, and rehoming dogs and puppies in the North Central Florida area. We especially enjoy helping pit bull type dogs and placing these wonderful dogs in loving homes. We are a network of volunteers who foster dogs in our homes until a forever home is found. We are dedicated to each and every dog and puppy in our rescue, and adopted from our rescue. Once a dog or puppy is enrolled in our program, we are dedicated to helping that dog find his forever home. We are truly no-kill, in that we have only had to euthanize due to extreme behavioral or medical issues. We do not put dogs down to make room for more dogs and if a dog is returned to our rescue, we keep that dog in our rescue program to find his forever home. We are committed to each dog and puppy we enroll in our program.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees are generally $95 for adults, $150 for puppies, and $200 for pit bull type dogs. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, vet checked, dewormed, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention before being adopted. An application must be completed and can be found on our website. References are checked and home visits are conducted when needed (for most pit bull type dogs). An adoption contract is signed by all parties when the adoption fee is paid.
