Lucky Cat Adoptions is an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue organization. We exist solely on donations and through fundraising efforts. We do not receive monies from any city, state or federal agency. Every penny collected pays for veterinary care, food, litter and essential expenses for the animals we rescue.
Our mission is to improve the welfare of stray and abandoned cats and kittens throughout the Jacksonville metropolitan area. We aim to achieve this through the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of homeless felines from animal shelters, found stray, abandoned, neglected and/or abused. We strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership and promote spay/neuter. We are dedicated to end the tragedy of pet overpopulation by opposing pet stores selling live animals and irresponsible over breeding of companion animals.

Additional adoption info
We become very attached to the cats and kittens that come through our program. We nurse them back to health and watch them blossom after being abandoned and discarded like yesterday’s news. Because of this we are very cautious when it comes to finding a lifetime home for them. Potential adopters are screened closely to ensure that they have the means and the desire to make this lifetime commitment.
Our adoption donation is $75 for one cat and $35 if you adopt a second one at the same time. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our website at www.luckycatadoptions.org
