We are a small shelter, owned and operated by a trainer, (see www.maximumk-9.com) offering a variety of animals for adoption. Our main focus is on dogs; but we occasionally have cats and birds.
Before placement, all dogs and cats have current vaccinations, are spayed or neutered, heartworm negative, and are restored as necessary to good health. Any animal with special needs will be noted on their bio. We strive to give you as complete a picture as possible on any animal in our rescue.
All dogs have basic obedience, and are house trained.unless otherwise noted. We also crate train all dogs.
We require that you complete our adoption application and submit to a vet check and home visit to qualify for adoption.
Adoption fees, ranging from $200 to $500, are charged to defray a fraction of veterinary and other costs incurred in the restoration of your animal’s health. All adoption fees are considered donations and are therefore not refundable.
If for any reason, an adoption does not work out, the animal MUST be returned to A Friend for Life Animal Rescue.
