Elmira Cat Rescue is a volunteer, not for profit organization concerned with the overpopulation of abandoned cats that are trying to survive on our streets and the surrounding rural roads. Our purpose is to work locally to rescue abandoned and neglected cats and help stop needless suffering.

Additional adoption info
There is a screening process to help us find the cat with the right personality that will best fit your lifestyle and then set up an appointment for you to view the cats.
We ask you to sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee to help cover the veterinarian costs. All cats are spayed and neutered, vaccinated and treated for parasites before they are adopted out.
A deposit is required to hold kittens that are not old enough to be weaned from mom.
Thanks for viewing the cats on the site.
