The Southeast Area Animal Control Authority, SEAACA, was established in 1975 to answer the community's needs for responsible animal care and control services. The SEAACA Animal Care Center, located at 9777 Seaaca Street in Downey, shelters more than 400 animals housed at the Care Center, reunites lost pets with their families, and promotes adoptions.

Please visit the animal care center at 9777 SEAACA Street, Downey, CA to adopt your new family member. No appointment is needed to request animal interactions. Interactions are, first come, first served. To start the interaction process, simply check-in at the main office during Interaction Hours. SEAACA's adoption fees for dogs and cats include spaying and neutering, vaccination(s), and microchip implant.
