Rat Terrier ResQ - CT

Dog rescue in Bristol, CT

Rat Terrier ResQ is a national all-volunteer Rat Terrier dog rescue group committed to saving Rat Terriers in need. These dogs are special loving creatures and, at times, end up with people who don't understand them. These Rat Terriers may end up in shelters after having been abandoned, neglected or abused. We work to get them safe, loved, and healthy -- and then find them the real forever homes they so rightly deserve.. Learn more about us at our website: http://www.ratterrierresq.com

Rescue FAQs

We are a national Rat Terrier rescue. We have dogs in fosterhomes in the U.S. and southern Ontario.

Additional adoption info

All inquiries about Rat Terrier ResQ dogs need to go through our applications team. We go through a careful process to ensure that this will a permanent, loving relationship.

Your patience and understanding is appreciated throughout the process. Feel free to ask questions and email back and forth as much as you like with the dog's foster parent. You will also receive a phone call from an Applications Coordinator for an interview and a Home Visit Coordinator will be working to set up a Home Visit.

Once you are approved to adopt your new family member, we will send you an adoption contract to read, sign, and send back along with your adoption fee ($150 for adult dogs; $175 for puppies under 6 months). After your contract has been received, we will work with you to arrange transport to get your new family member home to you!
