The Animal Control Division provides regular service Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Officers are also on call for special emergency call-outs seven days per week. The function of Animal Control is to protect the public from stray, nuisance, and rabid animals. The division also investigates dangerous dog complaints. Animal Control responds to other requests for animal control services dependent upon the nature of the complaint and the type of animal involved.

* Not yet spayed or neutered: dog $40 - cat $25
Adoption Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license or I.D.
Must be 18 yrs. of age.
Must have a letter of approval from landlord if residence is rented.
If living in someone else’s residence; such as a parent, must have letter of approval prior to adoption.
Must have contact phone numbers, at least two (home, cell, work).
Fenced yard if animal is to be kept outside.
