The I.C.C. was founded in 2003. We are a Organization striving to reduce the daily number of Shelter Dogs and Puppies Euthanized. We are dedicated to the animal community as a whole, and strongly oppose any breeding practices while over 16,000 animals are put to death daily. We are PRO Spay/Neuter and our outlook will not change until there are no more Animals that die alone.

Additional adoption info
Rescue is a huge responsibility legally, morally, and financially. Our goal is to get each and every I.C.C. Dog into the best home suitable for them. There is a 3 step process that we follow and it seems to work best for both Pup and prospective Owner.
1.) First you come meet our Canines, and fill out an application. We have a fairly simple Adoption Application. Most information I will personally record at the time of home visit. After this if everything on your Application looks good, we will contact your personal references.
2.) After your references check out... We will do a home visit. Our home visit is very simple, myself and the Dog / Pup that you are interested in will stop by, see how well everyone interacts, and that everything on your application is confirmed. The home visit will take between 35 - 45 minutes. If everything goes well and everyone is content...
3.) We will throughly go over your information, the conditions in our Adoption Contract, and finally sign and seal the adoption. We follow up with our dogs/pups to see how everything is going after adoption. We love these dogs and puppies, so we make sure they are going to the best home possible. Dog ownership is very healthy in many ways. They provide happiness and love, and we expect them to be given the same in return. Please make sure that you are ready for a dog before you get one. You could save a life choosing to adopt, but on the same token, you could save a life if you think about what you are doing before you make a mistake. With the goal of permanent homes in mind, we have a 7 day settling in period. This was put in place so that when people get one of our dogs home and find that it really was not going to work, they are more than welcome to bring the dog back. On the other hand we do want to ensure that people are committed to these dogs, so after that 7 day period has elapsed the dog becomes the sole responsibility of that person. As stated and initialed in our Adoption Contract, the dog MUST be returned to us if the Adopter decides to relinquish this animal.
