Bullock County Humane Society

Animal rescue in Union Springs, AL

The Bullock County Humane Society Animal Shelter houses dogs and cats that come to us mostly as strays. We have 20 dog kennels and 6 cat cages. We are a rehab, rehome, low-kill shelter. We network with rescues, market our animals online, and conduct off-site adoption events to give our residents the greatest chances of finding loving homes. While the animals are with us, we focus on keeping them safe, healthy comfortable and enriched. All of our cats get daily communal play time and our dogs get individual or partner play time in large outdoor play yards every day for anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours at a time, weather dependent.
