Patter Pets provides shelter for abandoned dogs and cats. All animals are tested, vaccinated and spayed/neutered. Our goal is to help reduced the number of unwanted pets in our community and find loving homes for our animals.
We also foster pets for familes in crisis until they can be reunited with their pet. Often families find themselves in a crisis that may cause them to surrender their pet to animal control. We believe that these families can keep their pet if provided with assistance as they resolve their crisis.
We are in need of funding to finish the addition to our shelter. We have been providing service to the SE Columbia area since 2004 and have grown in size and need. Our goal is to always house the animals in small groups within a home like environment. We do not cage our pets so we are also in need of used furniture, small dog houses, pet bedding, food dishes, litter, paper towels and small radios for the shelter.
