American Brittany Rescue - NJ

Dog rescue in West Creek, NJ

American Brittany Rescue was formed in 1991 as a cooperative effort of Brittany owners, breeders, trialers & fanciers who believe we have a responsibility not only for our own dogs and the dogs we produce, but for our breed as a whole. Because many rescue dogs can be traced 1-3 generations back to a recognized breeder, we believe all breeders should take it upon themselves to assist Brittany's in need, in any way they can.

The purpose of rescue is to take in a stray, abandoned or surrendered purebred Brittany's and provide them with foster care, health and temperament screening, love and an opportunity at a wonderful new home..

Brittanys can make wonderful family dogs and excel in many areas, but they are not for everyone. They are active, playful, energetic dogs who require personal attention every day. If you would like to learn if a Brittany is a good choice for you and your family please contact us. Although many rescued dogs do hunt with their new families, our primary objective is finding them homes where they will be a member of the family!
