Forgotten Felines

Cat rescue in Clinton, CT

Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a charitable, non-profit organization with a mission to stop the proliferation of homeless cats living hard lives and struggling to find food and shelter on the streets of our local communities.

We have all the cats we rescue spayed or neutered, vaccinated, given thorough health exams, and tested for feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).

At our no-kill shelter, we provide nutritious food, warm beds and expert care to as many cats as possible with the goal of finding them permanent, loving homes. Only cats needing medical attention are caged. We release ferals into managed colonies or barn homes, where they have food and shelter.

Litters of kittens too young to be adopted and adult cats who need more socialization receive foster care in volunteers' homes.

With newspaper articles, newsletters and outreach to local schools, Forgotten Felines strives to educate the community about the importance of spaying and neutering pets, and the cruelty of pet abandonment.

Forgotten Felines is run entirely by volunteers and supported solely by contributions.
