Responsible Pet Care is a no-kill, non-profit shelter for cats and dogs. The animals in our shelter have been picked up as strays by the animal control officer or surrendered by their owner. We also work with rescue agencies in the southern part of the country and Puerto Rico taking their dogs and cats when we have room. Pets have been neutered or spayed, received rabies vaccinations, received distemper shots, tested for HIV and feline leukemia or heart worm, treated for worms and parasites and given flea treatments before being released to a new home.
