Harrisonville Animal Shelter is owned and operated by the City of Harrisonville. We provide shelter for the city's stray animals. Whenever possible, we reunite these animals with their owners. We make every effort to place unclaimed animals with loving and responsible adopters.

Adopters sign a contract agreeing to provide a responsible caring home for their new pet.
Adoption fees are as follows:
Cats:
Male Cats $75
Female Cats $80
Dogs:
Male Dogs $80
Female Dogs $100
Adoption fees cover spay/neuter, vaccination, and micro chipping. There is no fee to enroll your pet's microchip with 24hr Pet Watch. All animals are required to be spayed/neutered before going to their new home. NO EXCEPTIONS!
