Pawtectors

Dog rescue in All, CT

Pawtectors is a not-for-profit, no-kill, animal rescue who is operated only by our dedicated volunteers. We are a small group of volunteers who work hard to place abandoned, abused, or shelter dogs on death row into new, loving homes. We are a multi-state rescue. We work with very high-kill pounds all over with dogs and puppies that do not have much chance at living more than a week after arriving there... and we do take in owner surrenders. Adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, HW test/prevention/treatment, spay/neuter (typically at 5 months and older), and any other needed vet care. We strive to socialize, train, and care for our animals the best we can until they are placed into their forever homes. All of our dogs are temperament tested and we work on all of their issues.

We are a network of foster homes, meaning we do not have a facility. All people interested in an animal must first fill out an application and be pre-approved before setting up a meeting.
