CCARS is a non-profit set up to run the animal shelter for Clay County, Illinois. We strive to find homes for every adoptable animal that comes through our door.
We take in an average of 700 animals per year from our area and at some points are responsible for more than 100 animals who live either at the shelter or in foster homes.
Our goal is to work with our community to make a difference for animals who are lost or unwanted. CCARS provides hope in a situation that used to be hopeless.
