Oasis for Animals

Animal rescue in Langley, WA

Oasis for Animals is a 501(c)3, non-profit, private operating foundation which was established in 2001. The primary purpose of Oasis is to rescue animals about to be euthanized at shelters, or from other situations where they are at risk. We network with other shelters and rescue groups in order to help rescue and place animals into loving homes.

We do not euthanize the animals in our care, unless it is for humane reasons, including untreatable illness or injuries.

Oasis is dedicated to spaying and neutering as many animals as possible and we look forward to a time when there will be no more homeless animals. All of the animals we rescue are spayed/neutered, tested for contagious illness, vaccinated, wormed and treated for any known medical condition before being placed up for adoption.

Oasis for Animals often takes in special needs animals that need medical treatment or are either too young or are seniors. We care for these animals until they are well and place them in loving adoptive homes. Some of the animals we care for stay with us for a long period of time, while others are adopted very quickly.

We have foster homes, but do not have a shelter. We do take adoptable animals to the PetSmart store in Woodinville, WA every Saturday and most Sundays. You can adopt from us there too. Please contact us via e-mail or phone, if you are interested in a specific animal that we have listed on Petfinder.org or if you are looking for a specific type of animal to adopt into your home. We may be able to help you.

Rescue FAQs

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit private foundation and primarily rescue animals from shelters where they would otherwise be euthanized, so we do not serve any specific geographic area and do not take in stray animals.
